Orthodontic and surgical consultations for skeletal facial defects
We provide orthodontic and surgical consultations for patients with skeletal abnormalities of the facial region. At the OrthoLine Orthodontic Center, we also offer orthodontic treatment for dento-skeletal facial anomalies, known as presurgical orthodontics.
Using the latest knowledge and clinical experience, we perform a detailed analysis of each case to determine whether the patient qualifies for interdisciplinary orthodontic-surgical treatment. Orthognathic surgery itself is performed outside the Center, in specialized hospital facilities.
Interdisciplinary orthodontic-surgical treatment significantly improves occlusal conditions (the proper alignment of the maxillary and mandibular teeth), breathing function, temporomandibular joint performance, and, most importantly, facial aesthetics—an outcome highly valued by patients.
Indications for such a treatment plan include:
- Mandibular prognathism
- Retrognathism/overbite
- Laterognathia
- Skeletal open bite
- Deep bite
- Maxillary and mandibular constriction
